Perth at the moment is having a stormy winter. My house at the moment looks like a jungle no matter how many times I did my gardening...in the end, I just give up doing gardening. But then...I notice something interesting...
When I was doing some gardening today, surprise surprise, I saw all these around my house.....

Not clear enough?..how about this one?

And this one?

And this one....
Haha...these
caterpillars are everywhere!!!! Bloody everywhere!!! Apart from that, it is not those small little ones, is those freaking big and hairy ones...damn, why everything here in Australia have to be big and hairy? Even those
Aussie as well...big and hairy...(not all...just most of them...haha)...Aussie Aussie Aussie.. Oi! Oi! Oi!

When a girl says they want to shop...they do really meant they want to shop, no matter if it is window shopping or not, all they want to do is just shop shop shop and till your whole person drop!!!
I promise my wife that when I come back from Melbourne trip I would bring her out to shop.(I knew that I should not make that promise in the first place, Darn!!!) She was so excited about it for the whole week, and to make things more interesting, she actually call my cousin to tag along as well....
Ok, we went out at about 12pm today, reached the city around 12.30pm and start to shop. First they stop and Nine West...See some leather boots and bags...
Next stop, we went to Myers shoe section to see some of the shoes....although the girls says there is nothing much to see there, yet, they still spend a good half an hour there, browsing on nothing...

After that, we walk to David Jones....another shopping mall similar to Myers. Yes, we went to the shoe section AGAIN!!...today must be a shoe hunting day...Gerron and I share some common dislikes...we hate shopping!!!...look what he had become after just 1 and a half hour shopping...melting on the chair.....pity him..this is just the beginning of the shopping trip...

After David Jones, we went down to the main street in the city and then, they went into Betts shoe shop...AGAIN...another shoe shop..OMG...by then, I was thinking what the hell that I brought myself into? Going to 4 different places, looking for shoes.... Oh yea, by this time, we already spent nearly 3 hours in the city, looking for shoes.....but not even one yet is been bought..
NEXT!!! ANOTHER SHOE SHOP, The Emporium. Looking for the exact same thing over and over again....
NEXT!!! NOVO SHOE SHOP!!!...DOING THE SAME THING AGAIN......
After like 6 different shoe shop, they are satisfied of the choice and finally says. "ok, we know what we are looking for now, let's go back to Betts for the shoe that I like"...... I was like, "OMG...are you telling me that all the while is just look see look see of which type of boots you want? and after 6 shoe shops you tell me that ..yup that one is the shoe that I want, lets go back there and try it out until I am satisfied?"......and...they indeed did that...they went back to Betts for the second time and try boots after boots after boots...discuss about which colour is better and which pattern is nice..Gerron and I at that time already went pass our normal shopping limit, we are like crazy people sitting in the shoe shop mumbling away....
Finally, after nearly 4 hours they finally found one boot...and then..we went to MNG, back to Myers, then somewhere which I forget the place name again.. We went to have dinner at Hong Kong BBQ around six before we head back home..... What a day.....

Welcome
Recently I bought a fiction novel while I was on the trip down to Melbourne, the title is " The Malice Box" by Martin Langfield.
This book is about a guy by the name of Robert Reckliss (Yes, another Robert after the famous Da Vinci Code.... Even this stories plot is nearly the same as Da Vinci...) is send what is seems to be a copper puzzle box, he has no idea his life is about to undergo a violent transformation. That night, an acquaintance kills himself in curious circumstances; the following day, an old friend reveals the existence of an arcane weapon that could wipe the Western world from the face of the planet.
The weapon is primer to explode in seven days and Robert must undergo a quest - a series of trails around Manhattan (New York) - in order to track down the keys vital to prevent detonation.
In desperate race against the clock, Robert trails the streets of New York guided by Terri, a psychic, and under the constant gaze of the Watchman. Higher forces are battling to prevent him completing the quest - for the Minotaur and the Unicorn are circling their prey....
As a conclusion, this book have the Da Vinvi Suspense, excitement blend with the world that we know today (911 incidents and terrorist). I would give this book a 9 out of 10. If you guys have a chance, please have a read ...this is one of the book that you mustn't miss...

Recently I went to Melbourne for 3 days business trip. I was so excited to go there but now when I think of it, there is nothing much for me to excite about. It is still a business trip and there is nothing much you can do there by yourself. Most of the time you will be in the meeting and when the meeting is finish all you can do is trying to relax, have a chit chat with some of the managers in the company. Well, there is some thing I can blog about when I was in Melbourne. I got some free tickets to go to a live footy (Australia Football League). This is something which everyone should try it if you have the chance. The feeling of live football is totally different from watching it from a TV. I mean the roar, the scream, the shouting and cursing...omg, it really switch on your "football fan" button.
Apart from that, I consider myself very lucky indeed to be able to get one day training from Colin
Whatmough. Who is Colin you might ask? Well, he is the designer and creator of
Whatmough Loudspeakers (
http://www.whatmough.com.au/) in the world. It is very rare a person able to be trained by him himself. I was so surprise when I got a call from my Product Manager in my company saying that Colin say he want to train me specially on Sunday (
ish,...this really make my ego boost..skyrocket...haha)

This is one of the picture that I took using my N95 nokia phone (5 mega pixel). He is explain some of the terms and different types of speakers produce different type of sound. Oh yea, FYI, the speakers that you looking at the moment cost about AU$40,000 per pair!!! Yup, the Paragon Speakers cost you that much and to run that pair of speakers, you need another AU$20,000 worth of equipments, from amplifier, dvd/cd player to power filter. The sound produce from those speaker will blown you away (not literally) but it does make me have goose bum....

After the training, I have a light lunch with Colin and his wife, Kee, on this hotel restaurant, pretty nice place to have a lunch. Melbourne people sure know how to enjoy themselves.
Well, apart from that, This
Melbourne trip is pretty much the same as any other business trip, went to Crown Casino in Melbourne, went downtown for a walk and that's about it.

It is been tremendously long time I did not take any holiday, and the Easter break come in time for me like rains after years of drought. Thus, I really do want to have some time off working and go somewhere else, relax, spend time with best mates and best of all, have a good long night sleep =) Then, a trip down to Margaret River hit my mind.... all the best vineyards, foods, and beaches, the best spot to go for my Easter holiday.
Hence, without any hesitation, Elaine, Sin Nee, Johnson, Gerron and I went down to Margaret River the day before Easter ( Just to get away from the traffic...) . It will be a 2 day 1 night trip (or so I though.....).
It takes about 3 hours drive from Perth to Margaret River. I managed to book an apartment )known as Leeuwin Forte) just 1 minutes drive from the main street in Margaret River. From my previous trip, I never expect how good and how nice an apartment would be until I stay in this one.... it really open up my eyes.... I spent only $210 per night for a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, a fully furnished apartment. In the end, we actually spend another night in Margaret River...=)

Well, the last trip I went to Margaret River, I did not have time to visit most of the vineyards..hence, this time around mostly I spent most of my time visiting new and old vineyards, drinking wines.....( I think I made my wife hook on wine as well after this trip...) I really have a great time at all the vineyards...great experience.
Redgate Vineyards

Juniper Vineyard (Good rose wine and white wine)
Vasse Felix (The oldest Vineyard in Margaret River, Great white and red wine)
Cape Lavender (First wine that I taste with Lavender in it)
Apart from visiting vineyards, we also went to pick strawberries at the farm. Guess what...we saw a huge pig at the farm as well and it doesn't smell.... this is the first time I saw a pig without the smell.. oh yea, besides the pig..I saw 2 goats as well....one of them is a little bit weird (trying to "make love" to my car...what the.....)
Oh well, this trip is like a fresh air to my life .... I really have a great time there at Margaret River. I'm sure I will be going down there again..there is still alot of vineyards I did not visit yet...

Is been a while I never blog again. It seems to me blogging is just another method of communication with you pal around the world. It seems to work pretty well. However, for me, blogging is also another method of remembering what happen to you life in the past. This, it works very well indeed.
I've been reading through my blog recently, only notice that there is so much things happen to my life that I already forgotten due to the busy life here in Perth. No more fun going on, No more friend's voice, No life.....
Life is really like a game for me, if you play too hard, you will stress out. Game such this must play smart. Smart enough to handle everything in every expect. It is not that easy than what I expected. Note to those reader " Life is like a game, play smart, not hard". Mark my word, remember it!!!
Some update from Perth, a lot of things happen lately, donno where to begin, where to start, Hard to explain, hard to express, hard to write....
Start from the good things first then, things seems to be progressing well on my career path. Start to get used to the stress and work load as a Business Development Manager. Meet a lot of different types of people, some good, some bad. One of the goals that I need to meet as a business development manager is that I need to hit a target of 500K per month. At the moment, I finally hit 300K per month!! It is a big step for me since these few months. But I need to work harder, faster, and be more aggressive than others. IT field is really like a war zone, with different parties (companies) try to destroy each other while gather more and more market share (customer)......it is really a dog eat dog situation. But I like the challenge, bring it on man!!!!
Recently, my boss actually go to Malaysia for 3 weeks holiday. This will be the opportunity for me to perform again. My boss actually give me nearly full authority to the branch....which is neat in the sense that I will able to manipulate most of the item that I want to sell, what quantities and cost as well. Pretty cool. Is like running the whole company. However, the bad side is that now I have too much work load, in fact, I have way too much until I'm not sure whether I will able to handle it or not. Will try my best to do the best. " Wish for the best and prepare for the worst"...
Apart from that, got some new job offers from some of the competitors. The pay offer is way to good to reject ( about 70K per annum), and also as a branch manager, pretty good.......yet, I rejected it!!! Hahaha, pretty funny when I think of it, the way they try to persuade me...is like try to tell me the current company has no future, you are too good for this company, come and work for me and I give you a better future . ....."What the"....... In my heart, I was analyzing, are they actually fear of me? fear of I will able to gain back the market share? Thus, rather than kill this enemy, let's bring the enemy to our side? Haha.. this is so funny......dog eat dog ......
Anyway, stop babbling about my career.....anyway, in 6 months time, which is around June, I will be going back to Malaysia. Yup...going back to Malaysia for good (actually my plan is 2 years). Reason why I go back? There is a job opportunity which is above all too good to be true, bloody good pay, almost full control of the company and better still, I'm part of the board of directors as well.... good eh..
Well, the company will bring storms to Malaysia....It will hit Malaysia market hard and good. It is actually a product that is medically approved, tested and patented internationally. The company is the only one in the world will have that product. Tada...It is known as the eternal water.. a water than contain 12 season salts that needed by human's body. It is the only water known in the world which have those 12 season salts. There is list as long as my arm of benefits that the water will bring to the consumers. I'm pretty honor to be part of this team to promote and sell this product to Malaysia.
Better still, I will be opening a subsidiary in Penang...yes in Penang where my hometown is....!!! it will be nice to be able to stay close with the family, relatives and friends ( although I have a strong feeling that my parents will force me into getting married ceremony fast....)
Anyway, so far everything is going as planned. Next week, I will be celebrating my birthday. This will be the first time I celebrate here in Perth with all my pals here. Should be fun....looking forward to the day......
(p/s....I'm declaring my birthday as a public holiday...and I will be having a holiday myself......=)

This past few days was kinda busy and did not have the time to actually sit down, have a cup of tea and write a good blog. =)
Well, I was on a website today and saw some unique and funny looking keyboard and was wondering, what the heck the world has come to now?

1981 qwerty keyboard
See that keyboard, this is one of the first qwerty keyboard that been release at 1981. From then on, keyboard has not been change and improved much until.....

Microsoft basic keyboard
the mid 90s when computer start to get cheaper and more affordable to people and people start to recognize computer as a dumb super machine which will do anything that you tell it to do so, trust me, computer will do anything the master says so, much more loyal than a dog....=)
After the 90s, internet revolutions kicks in and more and more people actually using computer and things started to get more interesting....
The wolfclaw keyboard
Gaming keyboard has been developed for those game enthusiast, right hand site will be the normal keyboard for daily usage, but when play game, the left hand side keyboard will change to something that evolve normal gamer to a professional gamer. Shortcut keys, ergonomic keyboard button to fit exactly the finger for gamer, you name it, this keyboard will do everything a gamer wants it.
and things start to get more interesting after internet become more affordable to people and more and more people start to using internet not only as a tool for knowledge but as a tool for entertainments as well, especially what known as online games such as MMORPG....
The logitech G15
Logitech G15 keyboard was born solely and only for gamers, gamers who are into online games. game such as World of Warcraft as drawn as much as 2 million players in just below 2 years has spark another evolution of keyboard. A keyboard that actually will help gamers with their game play. an LCD screen is built-in for gamers to customized what they want to see in that screen during game play.
So, that's for now, but what is the near future keyboard will look like? well, let that a peak into the future....
let's say 2 months from now?
Flexi- keyboard
yes, in two months time, we will be having what is called a flexi-keyboard. It's foldable, it's water-proof, and it's LED-luminated. This keyboard is most-suitable for people who need full mobility and the ease of full keyboard usage. PDA and small laptop user will like this idea the most.
1 year from now?

Saitek Keyboard
1 year from now, seems that people will be losing more and more of their sight and need to have backlight for their keyboard so that they know where each key is located.
2 years from now?

Microsoft Ultimate Keyboard
Right........2 years from now, people will start to get very very lazy. Lazy until everything need to be wireless so that those keyboard and mouse can be on their lap while sitting back lazily on a big soft couch, looking at a nearly 40 inch LCD screen with potato chips on their hands.

Weird Futuristic Keyboard
and for those who are even lazier, there is a keyboard and mouse hybrid thingy which I guess can't be called keyboard anymore. It should be call...something like mouseboard?

Keyboard Handbag?
And finally for those ladies, this is something which might catch your eyes. Yes, a handbag, fully made from keyboard. Now, who say we as a tech guy does not recycle and not a lady person? See what have we created? Genius!!!!
